Dr. Mehjabeen Nabi Visits Bait-ul-Miras, Applauds Efforts to Preserve Kashmir’s Heritage

Dr. Mehjabeen Nabi, President of Care Foundation & Charitable Trust, visited Bait-ul-Miras, a heritage centre dedicated to preserving and showcasing the history, culture, traditions and identity of Kashmir.

Describing the visit as an inspiring experience, Dr. Nabi said that Bait-ul-Miras goes beyond being a heritage centre and serves as a living tribute to Kashmir’s rich cultural legacy. She noted that the exhibits offer visitors an opportunity to connect with the region’s glorious past and appreciate the heritage passed down by generations.

Dr. Nabi extended her heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to Ms. Nighat Shafi Pandit for her vision and dedication in establishing the heritage centre through the HELP Foundation. She lauded the initiative as a significant contribution towards preserving and promoting Kashmir’s cultural heritage for future generations.

She emphasised that preserving culture requires sustained commitment, passion and dedicated effort, appreciating Ms. Pandit’s work in helping younger generations remain connected with their roots, traditions and identity.
