Care Foundation Organises Exposure Programme for Specially-Abled Persons at Pahalgam

Pahalgam: Care Foundation & Charitable Trust organised a special Exposure Programme for specially-abled persons at Pahalgam, offering participants an opportunity to explore the scenic surroundings, interact with officials and spend a memorable day in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

The programme commenced with the flagging-off of buses carrying the participants from CRC Bemina to Pahalgam. The buses were flagged off by SSP Nighat Aman, Sheikh Firdous Ali, Chairman, Rehmatan Lil Alameen Foundation, Mushtaq Ali, Padma Shri awardee Dr S.P. Verma, and Dr Mehjabeen Nabi, Chairperson, Care Foundation & Charitable Trust.

Upon arrival at Hotel Safer K, Pahalgam, Dr Mehjabeen Nabi received a warm welcome, with Khursheed Sahib, Advocate Fahad Bhat, Kaleem Bashir and others presenting her with a bouquet and shawl.

The programme was also attended by the SHO Pahalgam as the Guest of Honour. The SHO appreciated the Care Foundation & Charitable Trust for undertaking the initiative and promoting social inclusion, dignity and equal opportunities for specially-abled persons.

As part of the exposure visit, the participants visited the Mountain Park and Museum, where they interacted with officials as well as the Principal/Colonel. They were briefed about the history, gems and other significant aspects associated with the place. The visit provided the participants with an enriching blend of recreation, learning and social interaction.

The participants expressed their happiness over the initiative and thoroughly enjoyed the day, describing the visit as a memorable and meaningful experience.

On the occasion, several social activists and officials were felicitated with Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their valuable contributions and dedicated services in the field of social work.

In her Vote of Thanks, Dr Mehjabeen Nabi expressed gratitude to all the guests, officials, participants and volunteers for their valuable support. She particularly lauded the volunteers for their tireless efforts in ensuring the smooth conduct and success of the programme.
