Care Foundation Pays Reverential Visit to Astaan Shareef Ishber on Urs of Hazrat Rahman Sahib (RA)
On the auspicious occasion of the annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Rahman Sahib Ishberi (RA) at Astaan Shareef, Ishber, Nishat, Srinagar, a delegation of the Care Foundation and Charitable Trust paid a respectful and spiritually enriching visit to the revered shrine to offer obeisance, seek blessings and participate in the sacred gatherings being held in connection with the Urs.
The delegation was led by Dr. Mehjabeen Nabi, President, Care Foundation and included Noor-ul-Amin, General Secretary, Altaf A. Dar, Executive Member, Khurshid A. Qureshi, Programme Manager, Basit Ahmad, along with other members of the organisation.
The members described the visit as a deeply soothing, soul-stirring and spiritually uplifting experience. They joined devotees in offering Fateha, supplications and prayers, seeking Almighty Allah’s mercy, guidance and blessings for peace, harmony and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir and the entire nation. The serene atmosphere of the shrine, resonating with recitations, zikr and devotional gatherings, provided an opportunity for introspection and spiritual rejuvenation.
Speaking on the occasion, the members highlighted the enduring message of Hazrat Rahman Sahib (RA), whose life exemplified piety, compassion, selfless service and devotion to humanity. They observed that such sacred occasions remind society of the timeless Sufi values of love, tolerance, brotherhood and coexistence, which remain essential for fostering social harmony and moral well-being.
The Care Foundation and Charitable Trust reaffirmed its commitment to promoting humanitarian values and community welfare initiatives inspired by the teachings of great saints and spiritual luminaries. The team prayed for lasting peace, communal amity and the well-being of all people and expressed gratitude to the shrine management and organisers, especially Mr.Hafizullah Sheikh and other volunteers for the arrangements made for the devotees attending the Urs Mubarak.
