Care Foundation Condemns Child Abuse, Calls for Stronger Protection Measures

The Care Foundation and Charitable Trust, led by Dr. Mehjabeen Nabi, has strongly condemned all forms of sexual abuse and harassment against children and called for decisive action to ensure the safety, dignity, and rights of every child.

The Foundation expressed solidarity with victims and their families seeking justice, irrespective of where such incidents occur across India. It urged the Government of India to strengthen laws concerning crimes against minors and ensure swift and stringent punishment for perpetrators.

The Foundation also appealed to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, to further strengthen child protection mechanisms and take firm action against individuals involved in crimes against girls and children.

Emphasizing that every child deserves to grow up in an environment of safety, dignity, and hope, the Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to raising its voice against child abuse and advocating for justice and stronger protection measures.
