Care Foundation & Charitable Trust Holds General Meeting to Strengthen Humanitarian Initiatives

The General Meeting of Care Foundation & Charitable Trust was successfully held on 24th January 2026 at its Head Office in Srinagar in a highly organised, disciplined and constructive manner. The gathering reflected a strong unity of purpose, clarity of vision and collective commitment to humanitarian service.

The proceedings commenced with a warm and thoughtful welcome by Mr. Khurshid A. Qureshi, who beautifully set the tone for the meeting. Under the able, inspiring and visionary leadership of our Honorable Chairperson Dr. Mehjabeen Nabi, the meeting witnessed meaningful and focused deliberations on key agenda points, including confirmation of agenda, strengthening of membership, organisational structure and planning of upcoming social, welfare and humanitarian programmes.

Respected members Mr. Gulal Kashmiri, Mr. Kaleem Bashir, Mr. G. M. Rather, Dr. Wahid Raza, Mr. M. Y. Shaheen, Mr. Bupinder Singh,Mr.Tariq A Sheikh and Mr. Afaq Khan shared valuable insights and constructive suggestions. The discussions covered important agenda-driven initiatives such as youth engagement, interfaith harmony conferences, road safety awareness programmes, blood donation support systems, environmental and plantation drives, farmer and horticulture awareness, women empowerment initiatives and the uniquely envisioned “Desh Videsh” outreach programme aimed at spreading messages of peace and brotherhood.

The meeting concluded on a positive and hopeful note with collective appreciation for the ongoing humanitarian work of Care Foundation & Charitable Trust and a renewed resolve to serve society with sincerity, compassion and teamwork.
