Care Foundation Hosts Special Picnic for Differently-Abled Children

Srinagar: The Care Foundation successfully organized a heartwarming picnic for differently-abled children at Gulmarg. The event was flagged off by esteemed dignitaries , including SSP Nighat Aman, Mr Farooq Renzu Shah, Mufti Adil Noorani , Mr Malik Noor ul Amin, Mr. Muzaffar Ahmad Reshi, Mr. Shameem Ahmad, Dr. Mir Zafar iqbal , Mr. Tauseef War War, Mr. Jamsheed, Mr Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, and Care Foundation President and Founder Dr. Mehjabeen Nabi. The presence and encouraging words from the honourable dignitaries set the tone for a memorable day.

The event welcomed 105 differently-abled children, supported by over 40 helpers and Care Foundation officials, ensuring an inclusive and supportive atmosphere. Dignitaries like Er. Showkat Ahmed Gayoor and Mr. Syed Lateefullah also motivated the attendees throughout the event and inspired them to achieve great things in life.

Extensive planning ensured special arrangements for the children’s comfort and enjoyment. Interactive workshops on CPR, health issues, nutrition, hygiene, mental health, and managing chronic conditions were conducted. Volunteers provided personalized care, assisting with mobility and participation in activities. The picnic was filled with laughter, new friendships, and joyful moments.

Care Foundation is dedicated to uplifting the differently-abled community, with this picnic being one of many initiatives to create a more inclusive and compassionate society.
